IATA – Travel Industry Designated Services

IATA / TIDS is an agency identification programme that enables travel sales intermediaries to have their bookings recognised by a broad range of industry suppliers, including airlines, hotel and resort chains, cruise lines, car hire companies, theme parks, and rail operators. Through a referral application process, a travel intermediary is granted access to the TIDS programme only after being properly vetted by IATA. Once approved, the agency is confirmed to meet all industry requirements. In addition, it can connect with an extensive network of suppliers, allowing it to make bookings and earn commissions.
