Adventures with Astronauts

Curated Adventures with Astronauts

Wanderlux has joined forces with Purpose Entertainment in support of the 501c3 nonprofit organisation SPACE for a Better World to offer guests once in a lifetime experiences with astronauts. In intimate settings around the world, meet and greet with a space-hero, hear first-hand stories from their time in space and build a bond over Earth exploration.

The Mission:

To connect the space curious to the space serious through events, experiences and storytelling using the awe and wonder of exploration. Discover the importance of preserving our home on Earth, and be open to new ways that advancements in Space Technology can help make our planet and people healthier, safer and happier.

The Experiences:

Travelling across all 4 corners of the Earth, our astronaut experiences include adventurous expeditions to other-worldly destinations, inspired workshops with young minds and local people, unique experiences like flying at Zero Gravity with space influencers and astronauts, and even fundraising Galas and Summits.

TRAVEL WITH ASTRONAUTS

The 7th Continent

DISCOVER ANTARCTICA ALONGSIDE ASTRONAUTS

Following the success of our Total Solar Eclipse Antarctica Expedition with Astronaut and Aquanaut Nicole Stott in 2021, we are gearing up for more departures in 2023-2024. Witness the last frontier and seventh continent, in a tailor-made expedition across the Antarctic Peninsula alongside Astronaut guides and workshops. Be part of vital research; sea scanning and data collection. Get involved in ice diving with specialist guides and search for penguin colonies on land. Submerge by submersible down to 200m below sea level and scan the Antarctic shelf. And this is just the tip of the iceberg…

THE PLACE I SAW FROM SPACE Ep1 – Maldives

SPACE CAMP AT COMO MAALIFUSHI

Our friends at COMO Resorts and advocates for Space For a Better World host Space Camp in the Maldives, documented in the first episode of “The Place I Saw From Space”.

In a bid to encourage the #AimHigher movement – inspiring young people from all walks of life to believe they can achieve more – Christina Korp documents Astronaut’s exploring places on Earth that they have only seen from Space. In this journey, they aim to ignite a spark of belief into our next generation.

Nicole Stott (Astronaut, Aquanaut, Author and Artist) hosted Space Camp at COMO Maalifushi’s kid’s club “PLAY by COMO“. The week included science experiments, art workshops, beach cleanups and involved guests as well as the local Maldivian people.

FLY ZERO G

EXPERIENCE A ZERO GRAVITY WITH ASTRONAUT GUESTS

For Apollo 17’s 50th Anniversary of the final Moon landing, we took to the skies with Gen. Charlie Duke, NASA Astronaut, 10th (and youngest) Man to walk on the Moon, and Poppy Northcutt, the first Woman to work in NASA’s Mission Control.

This awe-inspired day turned adults into giggling children, as they tumbled mid-air, all hair flailing in the non-gravity wind. Partnered with The Explorer’s Club and Omega , guests enjoyed a Meet & Greet with the Space Hero’s at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, before taking off on the Space Shuttle runway. 15 Parabolas of weightlessness had us all swimming, flipping and falling for 90 minutes, before a fantastic photo opportunity end. But that wasn’t all – the evening continued with an intimate dinner and a panel discussion moderated by Ari Eisenstat.

Some of the event proceeds supported the 501c3 non-profit SPACE for a Better World to help continue the humble message they share around the world.
