Sustainability sits at the heart of every Wanderlux journey. We are deeply conscious of the environmental, cultural and social footprint left behind, and we design each itinerary with care, responsibility and respect.

We partner exclusively with ethical operators who employ locally, contribute to long-term eco-development and actively protect wildlife, landscapes and heritage. Alongside this, we support research, conservation and educational initiatives that help safeguard destinations for future generations.

Guest safety is equally paramount. We stay informed with global travel guidance and work only with trusted partners, ensuring travellers are never sent to destinations deemed unsafe, unethical or environmentally harmful.

  • The Conscious Travel foundation

      The Conscious Travel Foundation exists to strengthen the positive impact of the travel industry and inspire a more thoughtful way of exploring the world. As a Collective Member, Wanderlux collaborates with leading industry experts and a global network of sustainability advocates committed to meaningful change.

      Through mentorship, education and collaboration across different sectors of tourism, the foundation supports members in developing responsible travel practices that benefit people, places and the planet.

  • oceans of hope

      Oceans of Hope is a UK-registered charity led by people living with Multiple Sclerosis, using sailing as a powerful tool for restoring confidence, independence and purpose. Through supported sailing challenges, participants are encouraged to rediscover their abilities and achieve extraordinary things.

      Wanderlux is proud to support Oceans of Hope, and our founder, Rebecca Green, serves as a Trustee of Oceans of Hope UK, further strengthening our long-term commitment to the charity’s mission.

      Founded by former NASA astronaut Nicole Stott, the Space for Art Foundation unites children worldwide through the powerful connection of space exploration, art, and healing. Working across hospitals, refugee centres, and schools, the foundation empowers young people (known as Artonauts) to express themselves creatively, build resilience, and imagine a positive future.

      Through space-themed art programmes, global collaborations, and wellness initiatives, it highlights the link between personal wellbeing and planetary health, inspiring the next generation to see themselves as vital crewmates shaping a more hopeful, connected world.

      With a deep respect for the oceans, Wanderlux supports fundraising initiatives led by Superyacht Charities, which raise vital funds for maritime-focused causes. These include organisations such as Oceans of Hope UK, Sail4Cancer and Turn to Starboard.

      Through the Superyacht Charities Trust, financial support is directed towards not-for-profit and non-government organisations across the UK, helping create meaningful change within coastal and marine communities.

      Wanderlux proudly supports SPACE for a Better World, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organisation dedicated to using space, science and exploration as tools for positive global impact. Through educational initiatives, sustainability advocacy and partnerships with astronauts and scientists, the organisation inspires environmental awareness and responsible innovation.

      Our involvement reflects Wanderlux’s belief that exploration, whether on Earth or beyond, should contribute to a better future for all.

Since 2022, Wanderlux has been a founding member of The Travel Sisterhood, a global network of women dedicated to supporting and elevating female-led businesses within the luxury travel sector.

The collective provides a collaborative space to share knowledge, mentorship and opportunities, from supplier events and shared contracts to supporting female-focused charitable initiatives. Together, members work to foster a more inclusive, supportive and empowered future for women in travel.
